Briley

Briley runs its own internal numbering system across guns and generations. Match your tube-set number, not just your gauge

Find the Comp-N-Choke that Fits Your Briley Tube Set

Briley is different from the other brands in this lineup. It's not a single gun manufacturer, but an aftermarket threading system used across many different guns and custom retrofits. Rather than one "Briley choke system," Briley assigns a specific tube-set number (like S-3 or S-51) to each thread pattern, and that's what you'll need to match:

1. Confirm your gauge.

We stock Briley tube sets in 12, 20, 28 gauge, and .410. The 12-gauge option is a Thin Wall tube built for barrels that can't accommodate standard wall thickness.

2. Confirm your tube-set number.

This is the one brand in this lineup where gauge alone won't get you there. Briley's system spans dozens of thread variations across different guns and years, each assigned its own number (this listing, for example, is S-3). Check your existing Briley choke or your gun's paperwork for the number stamped on it, or contact Briley directly to confirm which system your barrel was cut for before ordering.

3. Select your choke.

This is a competition-oriented tube offered in nine constrictions rather than the usual four or five:

  • Negative through Skeet open the pattern wide for close, fast clay targets.
  • Improved Cylinder through Modified balance pattern density for sporting clays and most upland work.
  • Improved Modified through Full hold the pattern together for longer trap and FITASC presentations.

Machined from 17-4 stainless steel with the same slot-ported, tool-free design as the rest of Comp-N-Choke's competition line, this tube swaps in fast between rounds, or between a morning hunt and an afternoon on the clays course.
