Find the Comp-N-Choke that Fits Your SKB Choke System
Newer SKB shotguns run their own SKB Competition thread, while older models were built with Invector threads—the same system Browning uses. Here's how to make sure you get the right one:
1. Confirm your gauge.
Windwalker stocks SKB chokes in 12, 20, 28 gauge, and .410.
2. Confirm your choke system.
If your SKB is a newer model, these SKB Competition tubes are built for you. If it's an older model, you'll want Invector-style chokes instead. Check Browning's listing, since that system is shared across brands. Comparing your existing choke against the measurements on the product page will confirm either way.
3. Select your choke.
Most gauges run the full nine-constriction competition range; the .410 option runs a full ten, adding Xtra Full for the tightest pattern available.
- Negative through Skeet open the pattern wide for close, fast clay targets.
- Improved Cylinder through Modified balance pattern density for sporting clays and most upland work.
- Improved Modified through Xtra Full on .410 hold the pattern together for longer trap and FITASC presentations.
