Two thread types, one easy check. Know which your barrel has before you order.

Find the Comp-N-Choke that Fits Your Weatherby Choke System

Weatherby shotguns come in two thread configurations — flush and recessed — and the chokes aren't interchangeable between them. Both 12-gauge and 20-gauge are covered here. Three steps to the right tube:

1. Confirm your gauge.

We stock both 12-gauge and 20-gauge options. Select the gauge that matches your shotgun before choosing a constriction.

2. Confirm your choke system.

Look at the muzzle end of your barrel. If the threads sit flush with the barrel's end, you have the flush-thread configuration. If they're set back roughly ¾" into the barrel, you have the recessed configuration. Select Flush or Recessed when placing your order. If you're uncertain, compare your existing factory choke against the measurements and photos on the product page before ordering.

3. Select your choke.

  • For open-pattern shooting—waterfowl at moderate range, upland birds, card shooting—Skeet through Modified (.005–.020) keeps the pattern wide enough for moving targets.
  • For tight-pattern work—turkey, deer, and long-range pass shooting—go with Improved Modified through Full (.025–.035). Turkey-specific listings offer dedicated constrictions (.675/.665/.655). If your barrel is under 24 inches, bump one size tighter than the standard recommendation.

Slot-ported, machined from 17-4 stainless steel, and installed with just your fingers, these chokes carry the same build quality as the rest of the Comp-N-Choke lineup.
