Verona

Three 12-gauge Veronas, three different threads. Know your model before you order.

Find the Comp-N-Choke that Fits Your Verona Choke System

Verona's 12-gauge lineup splits by model, and each one threads differently. Here's how to sort it out:

1. Confirm your gauge and model.

Verona is stocked in 12-gauge (split into base, SX, and LX models) and 28-gauge (one universal fit across all 28-gauge Verona models).

2. Confirm your choke system.

If you're not sure which nameplate is on your gun, it’s worth knowing that the base Verona 12g (980 models) shares threads with Zoli. Verona SX 12g uses old-style Franchi (FranChoke) threads instead. If you're running an LX model, compare your existing factory choke against the measurements on that listing to confirm fit, since it's a separate thread pattern from the other two.

3. Select your choke.

This is a competition-oriented choke tube. Most gauges offer nine constrictions, while the 28-gauge drops the tightest two because that much constriction is rarely needed at this bore size.

  • Negative through Skeet open the pattern wide for close, fast clay targets.
  • Improved Cylinder through Modified balance pattern density for sporting clays and most upland work.
  • Improved Modified through Full (where offered) hold the pattern together for longer trap and FITASC presentations.

Slot-ported and machined from 17-4 stainless steel, these tubes install with just your fingers — the same competition-grade build across the whole Verona lineup, however you're threaded.
