Invector or Invector Plus? Winchester runs both, and they don't cross over.
Find the Choke Tube that Fits Your Winchester Choke System
Winchester shotguns use two separate thread systems, Invector and Invector Plus. As we state on our product pages, a choke built for one WILL NOT fit barrels with the other. Both systems are shared with Browning, so the same tube often works across both brands. Here's how to get it right:
1. Confirm your gauge.
We stock Winchester chokes across 12, 16, 20, and 28 gauge, plus a dedicated .410 turkey option.
2. Confirm your choke system.
Invector and Invector Plus are not interchangeable, and Winchester doesn't make the differences between the two easy to eyeball. The most reliable check is to compare your existing factory choke against the measurements and photos on the product page before ordering.
3. Select your choke.
Several listings here are already sorted by hunt. Deer, Waterfowl, Turkey, and Card Shooter each narrow the range for you. If you'd rather pick constriction directly, the plain gauge listings run the full competition range, from open (Negative through Skeet) for close, fast targets up through tight (Improved Modified through Full) for longer waterfowl or turkey shots.
Consider Comp-N-Choke if...
Consider Comp-N-Choke if you want a proven, do-it-all choke for standard hunting and target work—precision-machined, USA stainless steel, and tool-free to swap between a morning hunt and an afternoon at the range.
Consider Kicks Industries if...
Consider Kicks Industries if you're shooting serious clays competition—skeet, trap, sporting clays, FITASC—and want reduced felt recoil for faster follow-up shots, or need a specialty application like Kicks' Buck Kicker buckshot line or High Flyer waterfowl line, both sold here in Winchester/Browning Invector fit.
Note: High Flyer is not recommended for use with Federal Black Cloud ammunition. Choose the Kicks Vortex choke when shooting those shells.
Both are USA-made and built from solid stock rather than cheaper tubing. The difference is which edge matters more for what you're shooting.
