Who It's For

Hunters and outdoors people who need a reliable, cold-rated rubber boot built for serious conditions. The Frogger Boot was designed specifically for Dan's Hunting Gear — chemically resistant rubber, extra-thick overlays in high-puncture areas, and a Gel-Comfort insole make it the boot of choice for coon hunters, trappers, and anyone who covers hard ground in cold weather. Also the foundation of several of Dan's Frogleg hip wader combos.

How It's Built

Dan's Frogger Boot features:

  • Chemically resistant rubber construction
  • Extra thick 2 mil. overlay with additional rubber underlays in high-puncture areas
  • Gel-Comfort insole with antimicrobial barrier
  • Xtreme Traction outsole — aggressive in mud, rocks, and snow
  • Steel shank in outsole
  • 16" boot height, 100% waterproof
  • Comfort range: -20°F to 70°F
  • Sizes 8–15

Why It's Worth It

  • Built for Dan's: Designed specifically for Dan's Hunting Gear to meet the demands of severe-use hunters and outdoors people who push hard in cold, wet conditions.
  • Extra Puncture Protection: Thick rubber overlays in high-puncture areas go beyond standard boot construction for hunters who cover rocky, rooty terrain.
  • Cold-Rated to -20°F: Handles the coldest nights of the season without stiffening or cracking.
  • Xtreme Traction: Aggressive outsole grips mud, rocks, and icy ground without slipping.
  • Gel-Comfort Insole: Built for long days and long nights on the move.
  • Frogleg Compatible: The Frogger Boot is the foundation of several Dan's Frogleg hip wader combos — pairs with the Five Star, Brush Buster, and Snake Protector chaps.

Sizing Guide

  • True to size. If you plan to wear heavy socks, size up. Available in sizes 8–15.

    Favorite Hunting (Wet areas) Boots

    Forrest Campbell

I have a pair of Dan’s Frogger boots that I purchased two years ago that have the leg wader/chaps attached. I bought them for hog hunting in the swamps of northern Mississippi. The boot part (and chaps) have held up extremely well to some hard hog hunting day and night and also with dogs. I love those boots and I was in need of a regular water boots minus the chaps. I ordered these boots and the fit and feel is the same as my first pair with the chaps. I will say they run slightly large, but that is not an issue as I just buy a .5 size smaller. I wear an 11.5 typically so I wear an 11 in the Dan’s and still have room for thick warm socks. These boots are also better constructed and more comfortable than Mucks and to me they are much warmer than mucks when stationary. The are well worth the money in my opinion!
