The Sportsman's Choice Briarproof Coat is the best-selling briarproof coat that Dan’s has in the lineup for a great reason. They are comfortable, lightweight, good looking and tough. This coat not only performs well in the woods, but also serves as a casual jacket. Water resistant, Briarproof, wind resistant outer shell material. Flannel liner is actually a "sweatshirt fleece" type material.

Dan’s has  updated this Sportsman’s favorite coat for a more comfortable fit by adding the raglan sleeves.

Just a little friendly advice regarding the washing of these clothes: DO NOT dry them in the dryer; they will shrink at least one size, maybe two. You will be disgusted, but your kids will be proud of their new clothes.

    I wear a 42 regular. Got the large coat. Just a bit big but will work. Love the Dan stuff

    This coat is extremely warm, blocks the wind, and keeps you dry...not to mention keeps you from getting cut up walking through the thick stuff!

    Want a perfect fit, try Dan's custom sizing

    For the first time in my life I do not have to roll up the cuffs so my hands are outside of the coat sleeves just so the coat fits everywhere else :) Kurt at Windwalkers Outdoors was very helpful with the process of getting me a custom sized jacket from Dan's. The quality and workmanship on the coat and other items we got (camo bibs, hoods) is very good. Thank you for continuing to make products in the USA!
