The thickest, most durable snake chaps on the market today
If you’re hunting in snake country, these chaps will give you the protection you need. While the industry standard for snake chaps like these is 2 layers of 1,000 denier Cordura®, these Dan’s Hunting Gear snake chaps have a third layer. This makes these chaps 50% thicker- the thickest, toughest snake chaps on the market today. The chaps attach to the belt with buckle fasteners and have a 24” zipper for convenience. 
 
Although these chaps are tough, the wearer must still act responsibly. Windwalker Outdoors will not assume responsibility for any injuries incurred while using this product.

Just some friendly advice…
  • Thigh measurement: Measure the circumference of the widest part of your thigh to find the size that’s right for you. Make sure you measure over your regular hunting pants or add 2”-3” for the correct fit. 
  • Inseam: Subtract 2-3” from your normal pant inseam for these chaps. You definitely don’t want them bunching at your knees because they are too long and stacked on top of your boots. They need to hang straight in your leg area. You will be crabby if they rub together when you walk.
  • DO NOT dry them in the dryer; they will shrink at least one size, maybe two. You will be upset, but your kids will be proud of their new chaps.

    These chaps are really a quality product. The stitching is excellent, zippers are good quality. Very pleased with my purchase. The custom fit that you get for the price can’t be beat. I have another brand that the Dans chaps are replacing are much stiffer and uncomfortable to wear vs the Dan’s chaps. The adjustable buckles that hold the chaps up are heavy duty. If you need snake chaps do yourself a favor and get a custom fit, American made quality product Dans snake caps.
