    I bought them primarily for forestry work and got to "test" them in a grapevine and briar infested area last weekend in high nineties weather. They deflected briars very well, were reasonably light and seem to be well made. I gave them four stars because they are extremely hot and sweat just runs down the legs. I think a combination of cotton duck and nylon is a little more comfortable. As advertised they run a little long. Get a two inch shorter inseam than normal.

    This is a awesome product, they are rugged yet reasonably light weigh. They fit well and wear well. I wore these pants rabbit hunting the next two days after receiving them in the mail, in heavy briars waist high and not one briar got through. If you’re going to be hunting in heavy cover I highly recommend this product. After my experience with this item I will definitely be purchasing other Dan's hunting gear.
